Today, I want to talk about #humility as a #stripper .
Last night a dancer came into our club who brought her boyfriend (likely a drug dealer, carrying a bag of cash). He was nice and bought everyone drinks, but at the end of the night, out of his sight, the dancer changed her face and was bragging about how he 'throws $50s on her at home' and attempted to start a conflict with me.
I could have told her 'That's cute bitch. Last week a business owner tipped me $200 and another guy spent over $1200 on me. My friend brings in her buddies- real gangsters -who buy everyone top shelf shots all night and hand out Benjamins like candy. You ain't shit.' and fought back and forth about money.
But I decided to just stop talking to her and turned around to put away my boots. There's no need to even play that game.
It's possible to celebrate, congratulate and feel good about yourself without putting others down or bragging.
Bragging or trying to spark jealousy, seeking negative attention will only bring you down and ruin your work relationships. Real #hustlers #respect and support each other.
Enjoy what is there and be #thankful, keep a #positive and #kind attitude and you are likely to see your riches multiply. The most important thing in life is not money or being 'better than others', it being happy with your life and at peace and being a decent person to others.
