New PR on deadlift 365! One thing I will say is my form was horrible forgot to keep my head aligned with my spine but I tend to do that when I start to go heavy. Tying to control the cat back too, first time hitting deadlifts in a while and was not expecting to PR. but I’ll take it!!!
Sometimes cravings are just boredom. I was literally ready to jump on the chocolate train when I realized I could just start dinner early. Huzzah.
Made my lunch for tomorrow, meal prepped Ryan’s lunch for Fri, made veggie meatloaf and threw this delicious plate together:
Steamed broccoli + baked sweet potato + haddock with @wildpeanutfoods chili pb and miso + kimchi sauerkraut + arugula salad with lemon + Parmesan. Plus a blueberry @tonicakombucha on the side. And then cereal.

Anti-rotation presses (often referred to as Pallof presses named after Dr. John Pallof, who popularized the exercise) are a great core exercise that we think everyone should be doing!
Like Achieve owner @jasonlpak explains in this video, oblique exercises shouldn’t just focus on side bending and twisting. The obliques are actually also responsible for RESISTING rotation, and these anti-rotation presses do just that!
The ability to control rotation and maintain your alignment while external forces are trying to pull you out of alignment is something that is very applicable to every day life skills!
