Wrapped up my last workshop in Santiago thanks to @cosiobordaotejio@mastica_botanica and @revesderecho Thank you so, so much to everyone who joined me this morning! It is always a pleasure to talk about embroidery, share ideas, and watch all the creativity happen. Swipe through to see some highlights
There are still spaces available through @cosiobordaotejio for my workshop next Saturday in Puerto Varas.
And in just a couple weeks I will be in Chicago for 3 workshops hosted by @humboldthouse ! One of the sessions has already filled up, but you can still sign for one of the others through the link in my profile.
And of course, if you can’t make it to a workshop in person, so many patterns are available right now on Etsy! So, you know, embroidery for everyone!
Out of chaos comes something beautiful. I get frustrated easily, this is true in life and in cross stitching efforts, but slowly I’m learning to embrace the chaos and remember to take a step back. To look at things from another perspective.
All that’s left is to smooth it out, find the frame, and call it done! It’s not perfect, but it’s one of the most complex patterns I’ve used (up until my current project) so I’m proud of what I put together. #sundaystitching
#sundaystitching : 2 shirts (one for me in #tyvek and one for him ).... testing the fusible interfacing I’m going to use. After a lot of trial and error I decided to stick with #vilene@vlieseline_uk whenever I can. I also like to attach to my “archive” interfacings a little label with the specs and instructions I printed from their downloadable products flyer :)
