If Only We Can 'Shut up and Listen' “I remind myself every morning: Nothing I say this day will teach me anything. So if I'm going to learn, I must do it by listening.”—Larry King.
This might be one of those nonsense you might ever read here especially with the caption but please read thoroughly, it might at least make one or two sense. And 'Don't forget there's sense even in nonsense. (yes, check the spelling of the latter)
I know in most people's mind right now will be like; So I should just shut up and listen?, while I have a lot to say or when i need to at least explain myself. Yes baby, we need to just shut up and listen at times. Says less and listen more sometimes, if not all the time. This is not turning you to 'Mumu' robot but rather to build your maturity level.
Oh yeah, if only we can shut up and listen more, hear from the other person or people. If only we can shut up and keep those words to ourselves than spitting it raw. Honestly, if we really want to learn, change, grow in our daily life, one of the things we need to apply right now is 'Shut and listen' method and it's applicable to every area of our lives, be it partnership, friendship, relationship, marriage and family matter.
Words carry a lot of emotions, words are powerful, spoken or written and it's something we can't easily take back no matter how hard we try to explain ourselves after in our resolutions, feedbacks or even apologies. Words get to people differently, that's why It's always good if not very good to shut up, take a deep breathe and listen attentively before anything else. Don't be caught up with your words.
