I bought this good luck three-legged pig in Chile many years ago when I was running a retreat down there. Local legends say that if a pig can stand on three legs, it must be good luck, and that these little replicas bring good luck to anyone who has one. It sits in our studio window now. -
And you know... some days, this is exactly how it all feels -- teetering, uncertain, hoping to stay upright in the winds of entrepreneurial change and chaos. Bree is out of town and we double-booked the studio today. It feels awful to have to backtrack, improvise, ask people to accommodate. -
But our secret weapon has always been our community, all the big-hearted, gracious and down to earth people we seem to pull into our orbit. So it was okay, it was fine, everyone got what they needed, even if it didn't come together exactly as planned.
Big thanks to @kmsoutdoors and @jennatennyuk for navigating this bumpy afternoon, and to everyone at the studio today for your flexibility and kindness.
Our little pig is still standing strong, just as we plan to, for many, many years to come.
