Today for me was leg day!!!! But, what the hell was that workout?! Who the hell told @alexia_clark that C1-3 wasn’t a long enough or hard enough workout?! She definitely brought it on this leg day and made this a long and sweaty workout. Now, I’m still feeling under the weather a bit so this workout was a fight for sure (internally) but I got it done! .
When I first woke up, I was no longer sore from upper body which was a huge relief when holding the weights for today. C1: the lunges were hard for me today but I still used 10lb dumbbells for all the 3 rounds so I’m calling that a victory. I used a step for the plyo box pulses and it was a little awkward but BURNED MY PEACH! (yes, caps are necessary) The sumo squat pulse I used 18lb at first and then 23lb.....still wasn’t heavy enough 🤯🤯. So, I’ll need to remember that for the next time I see those. .
C2: I went into this thinking “I can do all 3 rounds” and honestly I think that is a win within itself. A circuit I was so worried about and I went into it thinking I can do it....all the wins there. Now round 1 I did it as it was written except the donkey kicks I did as pulses instead without the mini band. After the first round I realized how long this was taking even with a slightly lighter weight for goblet squats (18lb). So round 2 I did 50 seconds goblet, 20 second break, 50 second hold and repeated this with 40 seconds and 30 seconds. Then I merge the 10 and 20 seconds for each exercise into another set of 30 seconds goblets, 30 seconds hold. This seemed to go much faster but I hit close to muscle failure by the end of this. With that in mind, I wrapped up that circuit with 2 rounds. .
By this time it hit about 40 minutes and I saw c3 was deadlifts so I got in one round of those (I deadlifts) and called it quits. I’m dead. My body is done.....but I’m SO proud of myself that I pushed through. I even got to see some leg muscles as a reward .
Lately fitness has taken a HUGE STEP BACK in my life. I have been feeling very very tired - like chronic fatigue and I've just hit a rut!!! I havent been eating well - basically eating to how I have felt... and it sucks.
I reckon I have trained ONCE A WEEK for the past 5 weeks. It's been horrible... I do not feel confident in my skin. I dont feel like myself.
Yesterday, I made a promise to myself that I'd get myself back in track... and I have.
I've started slow - training light, to get back to it.
I'm not hitting macro numbers. Just more eating intuitively- with healthy and good choices.
To update you all:
I have finally quit 711 - due to lack of time etc and wanting to focus more on my kids and PT business... :) Remember guys, it is okay to have off days/weeks/months. Just accept it and pick yourself back up! Sure, I am very unhappy where my body is at the moment but - I CAN AND WILL FIX IT!!
I will feel better within myself again. Have a great week guys!
I mean unless you want too ♀️
If your not happy with how certain areas of your life are going but won’t make any changes, stick to what you have always done and won’t dip your toe out the comfort zone you can’t be surprised when you don’t get the things you want.
Sometimes it’s not easy to do it all by yourself, ask a friend for help. Hire a professional. Take some action.
Or you can sit around and moan about how unfair life is... it’s completely up to you
My husband's new cool video! Repost @ptbzam
My second creative fitness video collaboration with @travel.visually finally came out. In line with my other video, we wanted to create something dramatic and enticing to watch that is not just another muscle and fitness video. Needless to say, I'm thrilled with the final product. Wasn't an easy shoot but we did it. This is just the short IG version. Full version will be up on the website and on YouTube at
