First bit of training in two weeks, and it’s back to the ambi training. I only trained back fulls this time around. The two things I wanted to understand better were twisting to my weak side (towards my right shoulder/side) and keeping a tighter core while twisting. Although it looks like I’m throwing into twists like normal, I’m basically just pulling my arms into my chest right away instead of wrapping and punching into my armpit. So I had to rely on initiating the twist from my shoulders and waist. I’m comfortable on my left side going straight over the top, but I still drift to the right when going to the weak side. But it is starting to feel more comfortable on that side When I get a chance to go back, I’ll train the right side until I can go straight over the top. Back on the road for a month starting tomorrow, so I’ll see the 757 again in late July!
