Bei der Hitze hat man ja eher keine Lust großartig zu kochen (und man kann ja auch nicht jeden Tag grillen...) also gab es kalte Küche in Form eines Mozzarella-Wraps den ich mit Thunfisch-Salat gefüllt habe.
If you are asked to put premium gas to your car what type of gas do you use? Premium right? Why is it then that we are determined not to feed ourselves with good wholesome foods? Why don’t we think our body is that important? This is a very hard fact to accept...but is reality. Without sounding like the 6 o’clock news Obesity and diabetes are on the rise as well a Alzheimer’s and other mental deseases... we need to pay more attention to what we fuel our brains, our bodies with...and choose health!!! what are your thoughts on this?

I make chickpea salad regularly, but this combination made for the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. The other day I took some soy chorizo and crumbled it and cooked it up and put it in a container to sprinkle on things. Like bacon bits, but way yummier. Like little flavor explosions.
Meal prep from this morning!! I find that when I know I have a busy day, prepping food the night before or even the morning of saves me so much stress. Every work day I prep at least breakfast and lunch, if not dinner too. Weekends can get u predictable, so I tend not to prep as much then, and also because I have more time. What’s on tap for today:
-overnight chia seed pudding for breakfast!! (I’ll post the recipe at a later date) topped with blueberries, bananas, almond butter and coconut
-for lunch a spinach salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and avocados I made tuna salad as my protein; delicious!! How you make it: 1 can of tuna mixed with chopped celery and carrots, ½ of avocado mayo and 1 tsp of Dijon mustard.
-some Rainier cherries to snack on during the day🤩

Well, that's how I felt yesterday. I decided to make my own budget friendly version of a deli meal at home. I made a #glutenfree deli style tuna salad sandwich using @sirkensingtons mayo along with a side of homemade coleslaw and a dill @bubbiespickles!
If it weren't for the mercury in , I'd probably eat tuna salad everyday as it is one of my favorite meals.
A go-to meal that I often make (even at the office for lunch because it’s just so quick and easy) is this Tuna and white bean salad - healthy, delicious and filling. Just mix cooked white beans (you can even use canned cannellini, just give them a good rinse) some chopped celery, and 1-2 cans of good quality canned tuna in a bowl with some salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil. Finish with some chopped fresh basil, and you’ll be eating in 5 minutes flat! #easyrecipes#tunasalad#simplefood
Just some damn good tuna steak my pops picked up from the local fish market in town this is what I love about living on an island, all seafood is brought in straight from the fishing boat ready for sale
