I usually train only 2 muscle groups in the same workout. But I decided to change my routine a bit and worked a little bit of everything instead. I did a triset ( do 3 exercises back to back with no rest in between. Complete all 3 exercises equal to 1 set) for my shoulders to hit front, lateral and rear delt and it killed me😭 give it a try for some burn🔥

That’s what the scale said yesterday when I went to my doc appointment.
WOAH 😳 That’s 23 lbs more than what I weighed 2 years ago when I graduated college!
Tbh I haven’t looked at a scale for a long time. I’d even tell the docs not to tell me because I didn’t want it to mess with my mind.
But yesterday... I purposely looked because I no longer fear the number!
That’s simply all it is!!
I’m still pretty petite for my height and weight so I was a little surprised at the jump, but I DON’T EVEN CARE!!!!
I love my body right now.
I have a booty, toned legs, strong arms, a flat tummy and I am no longer restricting myself to lettuce and chicken!!
I have power over food and my body!

What’s the smallest, fastest piece of advice you can give somebody who’s just approaching the bench press, when you don’t really have the time to explain all the cues he’d need to keep in mind? -
✅Simply tell him: “push yourself away from the bar”. -
What does that even mean? Well, as you can see from the drawing, when you’re pushing yourself away from the bar rather than just pushing the bar up, you’re keeping your shoulderblades tucked back together: this alone creates a strong upper back base from where force is generated and pushed up. -
The upper back is tight & the chest is pushed out as a response, which equals to a strong & safe set up, especially for the shoulders, which don’t rotate forward & then potentially cause tendons to get pinched.
Will he also arch his back without telling him? I don’t think so, but chances are he will (atleast to a degree) through that advice. ✅

❌ Just pushing the weight up doesn’t really help much. This because people will want to push it all the way up and in 99.9% of the cases, they’ll lose their upper back tightness aswell, losing their scapulas adduction, therefore making their shoulders rotate forward and cause the nerves to get pinched without that much chest activation at all. ❌

Chris’s Top 5 | Reverse Lunge👍🏻👍🏻

Having a lunge or split squat variation in your program is a must for me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The reverse lunge is my favourite of all the lunge variations as it takes pressure off the knee and can be performed with better control.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Follow these 5 steps to get that form perfect and target those glutes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣. First of all set your shoulders down (depress) and get your upper back tight so the weights stay in place facing down to the ground if using DB’s. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣. Leaning slightly forward will allow you to target the glutes more as it creates more hip flexion and extension. If you wish to target the quads more then stand up straighter.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣. It’s important that you allow your hips to relax as you send the back foot back and descend into the lunge.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣. To hit full ROM try and get the back knee down to the ground or if you want to get even more range using a slight elevation for the front leg can allow more depth and more gains 😎.

5️⃣. To return to the starting position focus on driving through the front leg and pushing the floor away. To keep ultimate tension on the front leg continue to rep out on one leg before changing legs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Stability ball jackknife
When you’ve reached the point where the traditional crunch is too basic, then move on to the jackknife exercise. The main muscle targeted during this move is your rectus abdominis, which is that muscle on the front of your abdomen known as your "six pack." The jackknife can be completed in several variations, some of which can challenge certain core muscles more than other traditional abdominal exercises.

Muscles Worked

When you do a basic jackknife situp on the floor, you are using nearly a dozen muscles, yet your rectus abdominis is the targeted muscle. You also use your obliques, and muscles throughout your thighs, gluteus, chest and calves to complete this move. To recruit even more muscles, try doing this move with a power wheel or on a stability ball.

Medical Research

With so many opinions out there as to the "best" abdominal exercise, it can be difficult to know which one really is. A study published in the “Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy” in 2009 examined four abdominal exercises: the curlup, Swiss ball curlup, Swiss ball jackknife and Swiss ball rollout. Muscle activity in the upper and lower rectus abdominis was tested and activity was strongest when moves were performed on a stability ball. The jackknife proved to be the most effective move in targeting your lower rectus abdominis, or lower stomach.

This was my 4th exercise for the shoulder today after, front, later raise and a variation with resistance band,was hell tired by the time I reached here.Struggling with 10 kgs push press and going one arm at a time .I managed to do 10 reps and 3 sets and last few reps were with all 20 kgs.
