Today was the last day we sent our girls off to the 2017-2018 school year. .
From doing homework (yes....Madison had homework in K-2), school events/programs, field trips, folder checks, packing lunches, ironing uniforms, parent teacher meetings, PTF (the rest of the world calls it PTA), projects, doing their hair, packing book bags...to kissing boo-boos, reading books, bedtime routines, meeting new friends at school, glue sticks, broken crayons, and other little things in between, I must admit that this year has been a roller coaster ride! Ups, down, twist, turns, curves, dips, laughter, joy, a little bit of surprises and a few screams. Maybe 1 or 2. HA!! This day could not have come quicker! WHEW!!
However, I will say that at the end of this year, my kids are smarter than they were when they started. Thank you @impactchristianacademyjax for an adventurous school year!
My kids can read and tell me what a trapezoid is! We had a great time this year and our girls met some wonderful new friends! Thank you for partnering with us to help our kiddies grow not only in knowledge, but most importantly in the love of God! . .
I’m not sure if I’m ready to turn this page, because it means they are getting older. They’re sweet little chubby baby faces are slowly trying to go away! But I guess I gotta let them grow up. So, so long Kindergarten and K-2. Here we come 1st Grade and K-3. BUT first...... we must break for summer vacation.... Mommy needs it!
