What's a wedding without a Wedding Planner?
Ok, I've been in the Upstate's wedding industry for over 24 years. At first, I thought planning Nicole's wedding would be a piece of cake (no pun intended)... But, I didn't take into account the emotional aspect of this being my own daughter’s wedding. When you've been praying for her husband since the day she was born, you are invested with all your heart. You get one shot, one chance to give your daughter the wedding of her dreams to start her next adventure in life.
My advice? Don’t DIY. Enjoy the process and reach out for help. At the very least, hire a coordinator for the wedding day itself. For @kbowerssc & I, we needed a bit more assistance and one that had all the answers! @hlockaby2011 with @timeless.events11 was just that! -
She calmed me, got answers, made things happen, monitored the plethora of vendors, created timelines and schedules, and quickly took care of anything we needed. All weddings have something go wrong. It happens. What I saw and experienced this wedding day was a perfect day, a perfect & touching ceremony, and a fun-filled reception that everyone enjoyed. -
Through the entire day, I did see 1 thing happen -- Callie's leash broke (Callie is Nicole & Tyler's dog 😊). But, NOBODY can foresee that! And Heather & Marissa (a crafty bridesmaid) grabbed extra ribbon from Renee and VOILA! Callie had a new fancy leash minutes before the ceremony. -
If anything actually went wrong, I may never know. That's what Heather does. She makes it happen, takes care of any issues, keeps everything on schedule, and delivers your perfect day. We wouldn't have tackled this once in a lifetime event without her!
