Day 14 guys, going on strong. 96 oz is my minimum water intake. Not bad for week. My nutrition is on point. I'm not drinking coffee, no bread, no sugar no dairy nor cooking with oil. I only eat red meat once a week which I pick Sundays to do so.
Weigh-In Sunday. Drum Rolllllllllll +/- 0.0. I maintained this week so my total loss remains at 63.8 since 2/27.
I am very pleased with the result. I say pleased because the scale could have shown a gain. Not because of anything I did wrong but just that normal body readjustment that I and I am sure many other folks have every so often. I have had loosing streak for a bit so I was expecting at some point either a gain or maintain and here it is....And I am just fine with it.
Extra motivation to try not to get derailed this week with Thanksgiving. I am going to strive for a loss next week which means lots of planning to see how I can enjoy Thanksgiving but not let it impact me at the scale.

It was amazing. I got to nap, I painted my nails, I went to a movie- IN THE THEATER!
But this thing haunted me.
Sarah Vance does this thing where she hides the scale whenever she sees one and doesn't say a word. I was *this* close to doing the same.
When I see scales now it makes me sad/mad for the owners- that a battery operated machine gets to dictate how they feel about themselves in that moment.
I remember so many weigh-ins on this thing's predecessor. So many tears. So many moments of panic. I watched my dad go through it too. I remember all the calls to exclaim now many pounds- down to the point- he lost. I remember how that made me feel about him and his dedication level that week.
So pathetic on my part. (Sorry forever and ever, Dad.) I didn't touch this thing at all this weekend, but I can't promise what'll happen next time... especially since our whole family will be home and the LAST damn thing we should be worrying about is what this POS has to say.

#Day21 Weigh-in = 236. Finally!! After losing just 2 lbs last week, I was more careful with my eating and sure enough, the scale dropped. 12 lbs down since #Day1. In other news, my BMI is outta the 40’s & now in the 30’s. I’m no longer Class III Obese, now I’m Class II... I know - still bad, but moving in the right direction!! Can only wonder what these updates might look like over the next several months if I continue being consistent. Anyway - a good Week 3! Onto Week 4! #FitGirls#WeighIn
Weekly weigh in i know i’m late again we’ll probably just do these every Sunday anything loss in the books and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like i’m finally getting back on track. This week is going to be a challenge for a loss but I’m determined!!!
I do my best not to focus on the numbers. I know this won't happen over night. It took me time to put the weight on, it will take time to come off
My photo shoot weigh ins are very specific. I want the most accurate progress pictures, I don't want optical illusions or good camera angles. This is not a fun process- Im vey self concious, but it holds me accountable & focused. Sometimes I doubt the changes are actually happening, it's tough to change my mind

You can't expect to drop a crazy amount of weight each week. It's just not possible. If someone is telling you that they are, trust me they aren't losing fat. There’s a huge difference between weight loss and fat loss. If you know someone who lost a tremendous amount of weight in a very short time, the bulk of their weight loss was water weight and the loss of lean muscle mass, which is counterproductive. They will gain that weight back the minute they start eating normal again (and I mean healthy, not indulging). And all the lean muscle mass you’ll lose by not eating enough? Well you'll have to work your ass off by weight training to get it back. It's not worth it to lose weight by cutting too many calories and following gimmicky trends. It doesn't make you healthier. In fact you'll end up in worse shape than when you started. You’ll end up with a higher fat to muscle ratio than you even had before.
Five pounds of fat is a lot to lose! If you’ve lost five pounds, that is a great accomplishment. Don’t minimize it!
On my journey I averaged a 4-5 pound weight loss each month. I was very happy with that consistency. It took me two years to hit my goal weight at that pace, but I knew if I just stayed the course, I would reach my goals.
So don’t scoff at a one pound weight loss in a week's time. That is a very good indicator that your body is losing weight in a safe and healthy way. Don't get down on yourself and doubt yourself. There's a lot going on inside you that a scale can't measure. You are getting healthier everyday and moving closer to your goals whether you feel like you are or not. Don't be so hard on yourself. Take a moment to realize how far you’ve come.
A weight loss journey isn’t for the faint of heart. You’ll need to put your shitkickers on and trudge through some hard days. But you can do it. Just keep plugging away and your body will reward you. You’ll reach the finish line.
In the meantime, keep working for a healthier you and forget about the numbers. They don't define you and quite honestly they don't mean anything and all they really do is mindfuck you.
One day at a time is how to get this shit done. You’ll get there.
Longest. Day. Ever. Work was a little rough since we were short staffed, but I made it through! One more day til I have a day off I didn’t let the craziness of the day throw me off though. I stuck to my meal plan and got more than enough steps in. Breakfast was a strawberry Greek yogurt and 3 scrambled eggs with 2 tablespoons of colby jack cheese. Topped with some spicyyyy salsa Lunch was a grilled chicken salad with cheese and lite ranch. Dinner (I was so hungry I ate it before I could get a pic ) was baked pollock, peas, and baked sweet potato chips. So good and filling! For the rest of the evening, you can find me snuggled up on the couch under my nice warm snowman blanket Can’t wait to watch the Walking Dead 🧟♂️ Hope everyone has a great night!
