I haven’t posted anything here about this yet, because I haven’t really known what to say. Sometimes, when I’m not deliberate and I feel like what I have to say is too little, I end up saying nothing... but that’s not the way I choose to do things, so here goes. My words won’t be enough, but they are mine. ~~ Gary Young was the father of essential oils in the western world. His work in the field of growing, harvesting, distilling, and researching essential oils has lead to the expanded use of the God-given resources found growing on this blue and green ball of ours. During the very first Young Living Convention I attended, he said, and I’ll never forget it, “If you aren’t living life on the edge, you are taking up too much space.” Gary Young knew how to live life on the edge. From dangerous treks in Oman, to sub-zero temps in our northernmost farm, he spent his life relentlessly pursuing his God-given mission... his passion. It was his mission to “get Young Living Essential Oils into every home.” Thousands of people who share his passion will carry on that mission. You’ll be very missed, Gary. Thank you for never rejecting the path God laid before you. Lives were and continue to be changed because of it.
