Oklahoma State Question #788
I'm voting YES
Kennedy has intractable epilepsy, meaning her seizures cannot be controlled with medicine. But we still try♀️ Bc she's our baby and we can't and won't ever give up trying.
This video is the first tonic seizure she ever had. She had spasms before and they developed into tonic seizures. This is her life. When we call 911, it's Bc she's been doing this for over 5 minutes and won't stop. It's not easy to watch.
In her 6 years of life:
4 times in the operating room
2 intracranial procedures
2 brain surgeries
6 months of injections
Couple handfuls of medications
About a dozen hospital stays
Kennedy has risked peripheral vision loss, suppressed immune system, coordination and imbalance issues, stabbing and burning sensations in her abdomen, migraines, loss of appetite...and so, so much more.
Passing Question #788 for the CBD oil will give our Epileptologist- which has done his own clinical trial on CBD oil and epilepsy- the ability to write a prescription for Kennedy, which will allow us to run it through insurance. Without insurance, we've crunched the numbers- it would be well over $1,000 a month.
CBD oil has been proven as effective as current seizure medications but without the severe side effects.
I understand some people have their panties in a wad and say everyone will start growing it in their homes and it's not the CBD oil but the THC that will cause problems.
To that I say...♀️
Not my problem ♀️
My concern lies with my child and the best quality of life I can provide for her.♀️
I won't be the one to abuse the law♀️ So if ya wanna help Kennedy- getcha booty out yo house next Tuesday, June 26th, and vote YES on Oklahoma State Question #788!!!! #seizuressuck #seizure #cbd #sq788 #oklahoma #autism #autismawareness #infantilespasms #keephammering #letsgochamp #wholeplant #cannabisoil
