It was rest day today and somehow I still ended up with sore biceps by the end of it ♀️.
Let me tell you, painting for 7 hours straight is definitely NOT on my list of favorite ways to spend a day, but when I paused 1/2 way through and mentioned to Joe that I was getting burnt out quickly.... he told me that tonight I could write this post about perseverance ! Love him !.
And guess what? :) Here I am, seven hours later, finished with that project and feeling good that we got it done! Perseverance is key, but we aren’t amazing at practicing it all at once. It takes time and consistency to build it over time (with that being the case, I suggest you start sooner rather than later ) hehe. But you know what REALLY helps to get you through something that you reeeaally don’t want to do.... Friends .
Accountability y’all :) ! Thank goodness that Joe kept encouraging me to keep working, or I might have stayed sitting on the concrete eating my trail mix, and then I would be having a break down right now after realizing that nothing painted itself magically, and that I still had lots of work left and a job not completed like I planned . .
Ok, ok :) I know that you already KNOW this.... but are you doing it? Take the well known advice
Jump on the bandwagon
Start taking yourself and your personal goals SERIOUSLY !!! .
I would love to have you jump in on the second round of our accountability group It starts Next Week! (July 23) But only if you are ready to commit to working out 4xs a week, and following a simple and balanced meal plan .... and make new friends ♀️! If that’s you, then drop a below or DM me and I’ll send you the deets!!
