Sacrifice is part of being human. Usually sacrifice is considered masculine or even toxic masculinity, like soldiers dying to protect a kingdom, sacrificing animals to eat their meat, or a more gore type, like religious sacrifice of humans. But what people tend to forget is that sacrifice is a big part of life. We are sacrifices as well, we are all dying to build a better world where our children will live. Abortion is sacrifice. You sacrifice a fetus to give a better chance for a woman in poverty to live. Or you keep the fetus alive and sacrifice the woman, because, in fact, maternity is a massive sacrifice, since the woman gives up most of her money, health, time and effort to raise the child, and she is never free from this responsibility. Giving women the right to make an abortion is acknowledging that sacrifice is part of life and that sometimes fetuses must give their life to let the woman flourish, you know? It's evil, but nature is evil sometimes. Sacrifices are never for a god, by the way. Gods don't need the blood. Sacrifices are for people to remember that life comes from death. From the death of the mother's ego comes motherhood. From the death of the fetus comes better life for women that can't afford children. Even the Bible knows it, the biblical god chose as a first prophet a man that was willing to sacrifice his own son without questioning.
