1). I took this picture two nights ago out my back patio door. I read this verse this morning and had to write it out. "But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the LORD, have spoken." Jeremiah 9:24 (Picture 2). What a precious heart God has for us. My response:
"LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don't concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for my grasp. Instead I have calmed and quieted myself like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother's milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me." Psalm 131:1-2. (Pic 3). The second verse to memorize is a response I am choosing to have to the first verse, originally written by David. I wonder, at what point in David's life did he decide to stop trying to figure it out and just trust? Was he still being chased by an army determined to murder him? Was it when his children were making terrible life choices? All I know is that We too can walk through our days as trusting children who know that we are fully loved in these little lives full of situations we don't understand, and in our not understanding, we can rest content, at peace, and happy anyway, because our Father knows; He is working it all out, if we let Him; and He is good. #dailydevotional #wordoftheday #wordofGod #readyourbible #JesysonlyJesus #trusting #rest #peace #love #delight #loverofmysoul #memoryverse #Godislove #Godisgood #Godiswithus #Godisforus #Amen .
