...weil das Licht so schön fällt und ich mich freue, dass Schwachstelle nicht mehr absolute Schwachstelle ist 🙂 Ich versuche meine Stimmung hoch zu halten und wieder positiv. Habe gerade auf www.svenjasiewert.com meinen 9 Days out Blog Beitrag veröffentlicht und werde gleich in den Tag starten. Frische Luft, Friseur, ein paar letzte Erledigungen, Koffer packen zur Begleitung nach Koblenz, den vorherigen Formcheck und dann geht es trainieren. Also bisschen anpumpen. Nicht ernsthaftes schweres. Sicher ist sicher.

Two days, two awesome workouts. 5 years ago today, I stepped into this gym unsure of myself and everything around me. Today, I am stronger, healthier, and a lot more confident.💪❤️😃 And, I make it a point to say a kind word, send a smile, or offer to share space with gym goers who have that deer-in-the-headlights look I remember all to well. Perhaps it will mean nothing, but perhaps it might be the one small gesture someone needs to be motivated to return the next day. I still remember those that did that for me. 😊 .

Allow your body to move, open and grow at its own pace. Don't rush it and and definitely don't force it open. I learned that lesson a hard way when attempting certain poses way before my body was ready for it, and literally forcing a stretch that left me injured for a few weeks! So listen to your body... it knows best.

PULL UPS:
So many people focus on the quantity of their reps rather than the quality.
They tend to use momentum rather than focusing on the mind to muscle connection.

Notice how in the first part of this vid, my reps are fast and unstable.
Doing slow and controlled reps means your muscles have more T.U.T (Time Under Tension). This will help you gain more muscle, and also help prevent you from getting long term joint problems/injuries.

If you don’t have the strength to do clean reps, build up your strength with lat pull downs and assisted pull ups.

VASCULARITY:
The best way to get your veins to show is by getting down to a really low body fat percentage.

Your water & sodium intake are also crucial for maximum vascularity.
The less water weight (amount of water your body retains) you are storing, the more vascular you will you look.
By drinking tons of water and consuming less sodium you can reduce your water weight.

The sauna is another great way to keep your water weight down.

CONSISTENCY:

If you aren’t consistent with your workouts, you will never see results.

It’s the days where you feel lazy & unmotivated but still get yourself to the gym that really define you.
Some days or even weeks you’ll feel like you have plateaued and are making no progress but then a few months later you look back realize your body looks completely different.
Think of everyday of you go to the gym as 1 step closer to your end goal.

Don’t expect results if you aren’t willing to put in the work for them.
