Banded work continued from this morning’s post. I need a lot of drills for glute and hamstring activation, and I’m pretty sure most everyone needs these in their life too! For a very immediate indicator of whether or not you can fire the right muscle groups grab either a mini band and put it above your knees or around your thighs, or grab a resistance band like this and loop it around a fixed point then perform squats, deadlifts, jumps, lunges, whatever glute/hip/hamstring drills you can think of without letting the band collapse or lose tension. It makes ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE!! Started my day off in the most wonderful way! Biked down to #venicebeachflorida for a little HIIT action with my @wodfitters band. All you need is a bench or something to secure it to - or not! Just using the band totally works!! Then took the 9A beach yoga class for a little stretch after. Walking into town for a coffee from the beach about one mile each way will be the perfect way to finish my morning workout. Y’all PiYo is no joke! Today was sweat and I did just that. For those that don’t know PiYo is a mixture of Pilates and Yoga. She goes non stop. Today was 35 minutes I think.
My computer πŸ’» started acting up so I had to do it from my phone. You can also do it from a smart TV or Roku πŸ˜ƒ

My workout program has great flexibility to workout anywhere YES even in the gym. Some ppl go to the gym and just wonder around not knowing what to do. Well these workouts are geared to get you where you wanna be. I dont have time to keep looking up my workouts bc I’m actually getting results now that I’m actually doing the workouts rather then Pinteresting them 😁πŸ’ͺ🏼 If you wanna something to get you off your butt and you want options, hundreds of options to choose from then this is your jam too.

Everyday is NOT easy. You may think it’s easy for me to get up and workout everyday, but I can guarantee you I struggle just as much as the next person.
THOSE are the days I know it’s most important to show up. I will tell you that if you don’t have a reason WHY you are showing up then it might not be that important. Every person has a different reason and every one of them are important. At the beginning of each program I list 2-5 reasons WHY it’s important to me and on the days I struggle - I look at those reasons!
WHY (this round)
1.To be a better wife and mom (relieves stress to workout)
2.To build my confidence (bathing suit season will be here soon)
3.To do 12 push-ups on my toes (because who doesn’t want to be strong)
4.To have more ENERGY (believe it or not - exercise gives me energy)
5.To complete this program WITH my challengers to show them it is possible
