FYI, for 90% of people, 90% of the time, total-body training is the way to go. Even if you workout three to four days per week, exercises that rely on complex, multi-joint (compound) movements will engage more muscle groups at once, in addition to your core. So while endless bicep curls may seem like the ticket to the gun show, other moves can target the same muscle group, while also working other parts of the body, thus saving you time and effort. -
