I hate Winter. The mud, the snow, the break fencing, the feeding out. Argh. Trying to find motivation to run and work out when it's cold and dark. Its just not there, amd I am struggling with the motivation. So I signed up to do a 8 week challenge with Inspired Lady Tribe starting next week I will be training to WIN! (hopefully)
I use a few different apps to help me with motivation, for working out I use #niketrainingclubapp, and for running I use #couchto10k and #Zombies, Run!
Couch to 10k is really good, super simple and it actually works.
Zombies, Run is just really fun and helps get you going. There's nothing like a creepy zombie breathing coming through your head phones to make you run really friggen fast! Seriously. Its the bomb!
I also find that I work 200% harder if I have company to work out. To have a laugh and to motivate I guess? I am so super lucky that the husband comes out and works out with me as well!
One of the worst things about living in the country is that getting to a fitness class just absolutely does not happen. And it sucks. There's nothing like working out in a room of fit people to make you work your butt off! So I asked around and found a couple of people willing to come and keep me accountable! Yay! So that's my work out plan for the next while. Work by butt off for the 8 week challenge, improve my eating (not dieting, only eating well) and finding a good workout buddy!
