Something that I don’t talk about a lot that has greatly altered the path of my fitness journey is my heart condition. It’s the reason why I don’t run anymore (I used to love running), and why my rests are longer than other people’s between sets when I lift. A few years back in high school I learned I had a heart condition, and the cardiologist told me I could pass out and potentially die. I never let this stop me from reaching my fitness goals. Today was definitely a scary experience for me, as I almost passed out at the gym today during legs (my fault for going too hard too soon after taking 2 weeks off from the gym), but I just wanted to post this and be real about what I go through. I don’t wanna pretend like the gym is always easy and that I’m in perfect shape 24/7, because that’s not the case. Never let anything stop you from becoming what you want and achieving your dreams!
