I’m on week three of a four-week program, and this was the first week I didn’t go up in load but rather focused on my mind-muscle connection and strict form. This was also the first week I was sore AF the next morning. What gives?
The workout didn’t change. The load didn't change. But the time under tension and time muscles spent in a lengthened state did.💡
That’s a REALLY good reminder form, function, and progression HAVE to work together. If you’re overloading without technique or rushing through drills you’re NOT maximizing your time. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a lot of it, and so I’ve got to make every second count.👏🏻👏🏻
