HAMSTRING TENSIONING AND ACTIVE POSTURAL POTENTIATION
Harvey is a newer student who has been making consistent structural gains! This technique is great not just for “stretching” the hamstrings, but for actively coordinating the entire posterior chain, specifically the lats, that have a big job when it comes to maintaining structural integrity throughout dynamic movement.
Notice how when I tell Harvey to breathe in through his rib cage aggressively and engage his TVA he experiences a type of active postural expansion. This is the key to building a better body and becoming a better mover. Props as always to #functionalpatterns for this one!
