Grand Teton National Park

Had a dream last night about my trip out West I took this past October. I was in #thegrandtetons and hiking in the snow, when I came upon a wolf and a moose. 🐾🐺🐃 The wolf stared at me, unflinching and regal. The moose nestled up to me and sniffed me like a dog would do. They then turned and I followed them along a hidden mountain path 🐾👢⛰️❄️ to a desolate cave. Inside, there was a fire 🔥 and I saw my younger childhood self standing next to it, along with myself in my teens as they reached their hands over the flames. I felt a moment of convergence as feelings of past, future and present collided into one and a surge of renewal as if they were saying “let go” & “be strong”. Sometimes, I can linger in my past self and it clouds my vision of the present tense. I feel as if this dream was a rebirth of affirmations to not linger but to “just be” in the Here & Now.
As we move into 2018, I feel that pull of rebirth/renewal and to let the difficult times of 2017 stay behind and released.
This video is from my trip to the Grand Teton Mountains I took this past October. My knowledgeable guide from @tetonscience , Sarah, points out a male moose making his way across the animal refugee to seek out a female. As she describes, moose are superior in their scent ability & can smell better than a bloodhound. But have inferior eyesight. Moose are the largest class from the deer family. They run up to speeds of 35-40 mph and eat 40-50 lbs of food each day. This particular moose was on the scent trail of a female and walked right up to our tour bus. It was one of my favorite moments in the entire trip! 🐾🌅⛰️
