This, my friends, is what I like to call a Feelings Diamond. 💎 A feelings diamond is what I call it when you take all your feelings, and you stuff them waaaaay down so tight they make a diamond.
Is it healthy? Probably not. 😬
Is it how I deal with stuff? Frequently.
Does it make me feel a little better to imagine it as a diamond and not a piece of sad feelings coal? Yup. 😂
Sometimes it takes some digging to unearth the feelings diamond, but it’s always worth the work. (PS - this is yet another reason I’m grateful to be going to therapy.)
