In my sketchbook.
A Norfolk Door.
Beware, this could turn out to be a long post! As some of you will no doubt be aware I have been experimenting quite considerably over the last year. It’s almost as if I have been trying to cram the last 30 odd years of non art making since leaving school into the present day. I’ve absolutely been enjoying the discovery of my own creativity other than with a camera in hand! Recently, I have been improvising with old eyeshadow. Not the best move but it was all I had. Yesterday whilst having a girly morning with my Mum, I decided to purchase some soft pastels. This morning I made my first attempt with them. This Norfolk Door is the result. It may not be brilliant but I’m really pleased with the end result! •
Today I’m hoping to visit an old abandoned house, somewhere in the depths of Dorset. My camera battery is currently on charge and I’m itching to get there. Hopefully there will be some inspiration to be found. Enjoy your Sunday and thank you for reading if you got this far...
