The gardens feeling abit bare just now, theres still : kale, brussels sprouts, swedes, swiss chard ,winter leeks, winter cabbage, daikon, rocket and dill. Thank goodness for dill, its so good for you and it survives the Shetland autumn. It recovered from the wind burn thankfully - the swiss chard not so much, so im going to have to get that eaten asap. Thinking in a curry?.. with chickpeas... Yummy.

I love just nipping out to get food out the garden. Its the truest form of zero waste eating: no plastic, organically grown and no food miles. Its good to teach the kids that you dont have to go to the supermarket 🙏
