As we approach this season, try not to feel too guilty about all of the beers, huge appetite, bbq's, and lack of exercise you may or may not have included yourself in.
Instead, try this.
Give yourself a pat on the back for having fun this summer, enjoying friends, your family and kids and be thankful you had good food to eat. Don't feel guilty at this point because you can't change or take back the time you enjoyed.
I find for myself fall is a great time to take control of your schedule, of your food intake, your workout routines and your body.
Many of us do it so don't think you are the only one, instead take the time to maybe work on some of the goals you have for fall.
1) Start meal prepping to assure success in good meals during work, sports, etc
2) Look into joining a community fitness group that focuses on your goals and has a warm welcoming feeling
3) Set a personal fitness goal that you would be proud of when you accomplished it
4) Grab a friend and go for a walk
5) If you struggle with keeping on track:
Hire a trainer. Make sure she/he knows your goals and ask them how they can help get you there. Make sure you interview your trainer to make sure it's a right fit. Remember Fall is a great way to start the season with some amazing goals.
Now go out, set some goals, join a Bootcamp session and get your workout on.
