I cried watching this. If you know me then you know this type of words/mindsets is what I live for and what keeps me going. You're a blessing @mileycyrus, thank you for your soul 🌻🌈
Honestly Heather Heyer was right. If you're not outraged you're not paying attention. Or you're just a fucking asshole lol. Everything that's been happening lately isn't normal or humane and it should definitely not be accepted. When you see injustices call it the fuck out, say SOMETHING. For fucks sake stop normalising racism, lgbtq+phobia, islamophobia and every other act of bigotry and hatred. Stop condoning it, stop accepting it, stop calling it an opinion, stop ignoring it, stop brushing it off and of fucking course stop voting for it. Stop acting like it's not your problem just because you're not directly affected. It is your problem. Minorities are your, OUR fellow human beings and they're bullied, harassed, dehumanised, humiliated, oppressed, killed and deprived of their basic human rights for no other reason other than the fact that messed up people are in power. When did we get to a point where we hear shit like "Muslim ban", "trans ban", "mass deportation" and our first thought is to justify it??? When did we get to a point where we see incidents of racism and lgbtq+phobia, xenophobia and other baseless bigoted actions and we tell our minorities -the ONLY fucking victims in those cases- to accept it cause "freedom of speech" when their lives, freedom and rights are on the line??? I see more people telling minorities to tolerate their oppressors than I see oppressors being held accountable for their actions and that 👏 shit's 👏 not 👏 okay 👏. Stop normalising everything that ends in -ism and -phobia if innocent people are being targeted and dehumanised.
Educate yourself on such things, look shit up, shut the fuck up for ONE minute and acknowledge the fact that your ignorance on topics like this has been and still is KILLING people. It is YOUR responsibility to step back, see where you're wrong and stop being a vile piece of shit. We were all born equal and we are all worthy of basic human rights and the freedom to be ourselves and feel and be SAFE while doing so.
