🎈11/1/1997🎂 20yrs ago today the official release of #JordanBrand. Remember how major this was at the time? Around my way Idk what was talked about more #MichaelJordan having his own company, the brand sponsoring #NCAA teams, #JordanTeam sneakers, the hologram on the #Jordan13, or the hidden lacing system on the #AirJordan13. What was your first #BrandJordan sneakers? Mines were the Cal State #JordanTeam1. My second was Blk/red #JordanXIII. 20yrs later I still hate those #AirJordanTrainer lol. #CEOJordan #NikeTown #TinkerHatfield #EddieJones #VinBaker #RayAllen #DerekAnderson #MichaelFinely #TeamJordan #Jumpman23 #AirJordan #ATCQ #AhmadRashad #RedStorm #Tarheels #GoldenBears #BearCats #AlternateSneakers #Jumpman
dope post @bee.knowbles
@ijapino lol dope my go to is Coca Cola and products.
@bee.knowbles I’ve had people argue to me that the reason Air Jordans don’t have “nike air” anymore is because they don’t want to pay “royalties” to Nike. 😂 They’re the same damn company!! My go-to analogy is it’s like Polo to Ralph Lauren or Acura to Honda.
@ijapino I was think about that too lol. I remember the big confusion back then. Due to the rumors back then I thought he left nike until I got my team 1’s, and seen the Nike logos on the bottom of the box then it was all clear to me. Funny thing was I was 12 and I got it right away.
I think Roy Jones rocked them once or twice
@jayasony I still hate them with a passion lol. Looks like boxing/wrestling boots.
Still frustrating that we STILL have to explain to people that Jordan Brand is still apart of Nike.
I didn't like the trainers at first. When they faded out that's when I started to like them.
I love this!
