New Year’s Eve Sunday morning ... looks about right. Hot drinks for cold days ... this warming, detoxing dandelion chai has been my drink of the season! In saucepan combine: 1 T. dried dandelion root; 2 cinnamon sticks, broken in pieces; 5-6 cardamom pods, crushed; 1 tsp peppercorns; 1 tsp Clive’s; 1-inch piece of ginger, thinly sliced. Pour 4 c. purified water over and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 15-20 minutes. Strain. Pour into warm mugs with honey and coconut or almond milk to taste. I’ve been enjoying the full fat canned coconut milk in it for some creamy body!
