The Crow stars Brandon Lee, Rochelle Davis, and Michael Wincott. The film follows Eric Draven (Lee), a guitarist who lives in Detroit with his fiancée Sarah (Davis). When they are tragically murdered in their home by a mafia led by Top Dollar (Wincott), Draven is revived a year later by a crow and seeks vengeance for the death of his fiancée. Dawning a trench coat and face paint, and armed with acrobatic fighting skills and regeneration powers, Draven hunts down the mafia that destroyed his life as the vigilante, The Crow. Now what I like about this film is it's action, great story, and great characters. The movie has badass action with everything one would want in an action scene. The characters are memorable and portrayed well by the actors playing them. The story is exciting and visually stunning to see on screen. Plus, I really love the gothic tone of the film. However, what I did not like about the film, though, is its villain and a major plot hole. First off, the villain is very boring to watch and the performance by Michael Wincott makes me wish the movie would go back to The Crow fighting bad guys. Plus, one of the biggest problems I have with the film is the plot hole in how a regular crow could magically revive a deceased human being. I might be looking way to deep into this, considering I never read the comic, but regardless I really enjoyed this movie. Although it may have a few issues, the movie is very fun to watch and is highly entertaining. Because I do think the good outweighs the bad in the film, I will give The Crow a 9/10. Thank you so much for reading. I'm so sorry I did not have a Flashback Friday review, but I promise I will get back on it this coming Friday. As always please comment a film you would like me to review down below. #thecrow #brandonlee #michaelwincott #birdistheword #badass #action #goth #thriller #horror #mafia #comics #comicbooks #vigilante #sting #halloween #comicbookmovie #graphicnovel #graphicdesign #gothicmakeup #mustseemoviereviews
