The World at Night project
Last night the sky in the high latitudes exploded with bright aurora. I was doing my last night of the photo workshop in Iceland and this was the view near midnight. The experience of watching the aurora crowns forming overhead, the “dancing spirits” across the sky, is beyond photography. If you are in the Arctic latitudes, the northern lights are still in high activity in the next two nights. It doesn’t matter where you are in those latitudes, look for anywhere dark away from city light preferably with open northern horizon.
See more of this night at my feed @babaktafreshi.
