This guy does an amazing job at always seeing the light in situations + has an amazing way of turning a difficult situation into an uplifting one no matter what. ⠀
But, he's not perfect and there are days where the light seems to be shining a little less. On those days where he feels overwhelmed, I do something goofy, inspire him, pray with him, make him laugh and take that pressure off his shoulders just as he does for me on a regular basis. ⠀
That's one of my favorite aspects of our relationship - the ability to uplift each other up when the other can't seem to find their light that day. ⠀
But, this doesn't have to be just with your significant other. It can be to a friend, to a sister, to a neighbor, to a stranger on Instagram, for that matter. Light. Each. Other. Up. ⠀
I've always loved the quote, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a different battle." ⠀
Let's find a way to be contagious with our happiness, our joy, our love because sometimes, we just need one other person to light the way for us. ⠀
What are ways you have found are best when lifting/cheering someone else up?
