chrysalis

Fighting and continuing to fight every day is tiring. No matter the weather or a good gig or good friends the bad mood stays
.
Its one of those days where the enormity of being mentally ill and what impact it is going to have on my everyday life for the rest of my life.
.
I see people out living there lives, making friends, studying, working and I remain stagnant. In a battle between pain and sanity.
.
Days like this come, sometimes the ground them selves into you and stay for a few weeks.
.
But that is okay, we are human and perfectly flawed. We are not going to wake up everyday with the capacity for positivity. Or with the ablity to shower. Or pick medication or interact with the outside world. You might want to scream or shout or hurt. .
On these days, hold yourself close. Wrap yourself in a cocoon of safety and hold back on all judgement. Stay away from those accounts and profiles that makes the envy of comparassion swallow you whole. Try and shower or open a window, or make your bed and keep fighting.
.
The cliché of 'This Top Will Pass' can be frustrating and overwhelming when it feels like you've been ill forever but the reason it is used so much is because it is true.
.
Stay strong
