Matthieu Ricard is a Tibetan Buddhist monk who went viral as "The Happiest Man in the world." He has also been practicing meditation since his 20's. He is now 71 and his secret to success is by practicing compassionate meditation. Ricard emphasizes that spending as little as 5 minutes per day mediating can completely change your mindset. So find some space, sit comfortably, focus on breathing in and out, and think of someone who makes you happy. We all have unconditional love for someone and by focusing our mindset on that person for 5, 10 minutes, you're able to take that feeling into the rest of your day. •
