Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // @richiegrahamphoto exploring a ridge above Tower Junction in Yellowstone National Park last week. Skiing around in Yellowstone was one of the coolest parts of our experience out there. It was frigid to say the least but the biting cold and crusty snow didn’t really dampen our spirits. The Lamar Valley, below Richie in this image, is famous for the incredible array of wildlife that can be seen from the road. That valley was also where wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone back in 1995. #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstone #wyoming #lamarvalley

Summer Fair | Photograph by Lindsay Saunders
A father shares a moment with his son during a fireworks show at the Alaska State Fair last August. #YourShotPhotographer Lindsay Saunder comments on the quality of the light: "This was taken around 11:30pm, our 'blue hour' in Alaska during the summer!"

To honor the black community on Instagram and celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth, we’re sharing another story in our series #ShareBlackStories. This month and beyond, follow along and share your unique perspective using the hashtag.
“Black history is part of everything that I am,” says Benny Harlem (@bennyharlem), who is an artist, musician and (most importantly) father to Jaxyn (pictured). “In my family, Black history is celebrated 365 days a year. Because of all that, my family and I continue to learn about our history, and it helps us to make better decisions and choices. It helps us not to take any of our opportunities for granted,” he says. “It’s so important to continue to #ShareBlackStories. It will continue to help tie and bond us all together — sharing our experiences helps all races to learn and grow.”
Check out today’s story to see new #ShareBlackStories templates. Screenshot, save and share on your story. ❤️

The patterns and colors of nature are amazing - the ranger who issued our permit to hike here referred to this canyon as “nature’s Sistine chapel” and I totally get it 😍
Initially formed by water erosion in the Jurassic period, it’s sandstone walls are now primarily sculpted by the wind 💨 🏜
