Look what we spotted. 😸 Wildlife photographer Ashish Parmar (@ashishjparmar) traveled to Kenya to snap this photo of two cheetahs in their natural habitat. “I planted a camera on the ground and waited three hours for them to come give it a closer look,” he says. #WHPplanetearth

Photo by Andy Mann @andy_mann | A beautiful, and pregnant, oceanic whitetip shark cruises from a deep bank into the shallows to say hello. I've spent most of my career as an underwater photographer documenting this endangered western Atlantic population, and every time I see one in the water I'm left in awe of its grace, power, and beauty. Once considered the most abundant large predator on the planet, oceanic whitetip populations have declined as much as 95 percent in some studies, due to its susceptibility to longline fishing and value in the shark fin soup industry. I'm grateful for the Bahamas' nationwide protection of all shark species, so moments like this can be experienced by others. Please follow me @andy_mann for more stories from the wilder side of our blue planet.

Breathless | Photograph by Shelby Clowers (@shelbylclowers)
“Too often do I forget to look up. I take for granted how blessed I am to be where I am. Since my oldest has gotten a camera, he has taken me to numerous dead-end roads to pull off and get ‘the shot.’ He once brought me here,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Shelby Clowers. “As I drove home after a rainy day, I saw the clouds rolling off the mountains. I drove us up there again and was left breathless. Sometimes I wish I saw things through his eyes, but I am slowly learning. He has so much left to teach me.” This photo was submitted to our “My Home” assignment. “I agree with #YourShotPhotographer Shannon Hunt (@shuntm42) who commented, "Shelby, I love your heartfelt narrative about your son. It is so awesome that your son has the same passion for photography as you do. I am sure these moments with him are very special. I am glad you decided to go back to capture this scene. It is so magical with the wispy clouds sprawling across the sky and the beautiful reflection in the water. Really nice capture!" — @natgeoyourshot Producer David Y. Lee (@davidylee)
