Top Shot: Stripes on Stripes | Photograph by Yaron Schmid (@yswildlifephotography)
“During an early morning game drive in Etosha, Namibia, we stopped by Okaukuejo water hole,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Yaron Schmid. “This place is known for the large amount of animals that tend to visit it during the day. Unfortunately, only a lone zebra and a few Oryx were in the area. Luckily, this cautious zebra finally reached the water and started drinking as the first rays of the rising sun penetrated the morning clouds.” This image was selected for the Daily Dozen on November 19, 2018.

Top Shot features the photo with the most votes from the previous day’s Daily Dozen, 12 photos chosen by the Your Shot editors from thousands of recent uploads.
