Almost Identical | Photograph by Alvis Lazarus (@alvislazarusphotography)

"Gorgeous habitat of Bandipur and I saw two spotted deers grazing," writes #YourShotPhotographer Alvis Lazarus. "It was a moment after rains and the twilight was too gorgeous. As I was enjoying the scene, the two Stags stopped a moment and looked at me... wow, just wow. It was a moment when I felt that both stags were almost identical."

The @natgeoyourshot photo community began with the tagline “Let’s tell stories together.” We wanted the @natgeo audience to share their best images and stories with us. #Cannes you believe it? Sundy Jules (@sundyjules) sure can’t. The 20-year-old French creator is at the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. “I’m excited for everything,” Sundy says. “The films, the beach, the parties, hanging out with my friends, but definitely mostly excited for the films.”
Do you know how to say “walk the red carpet” in French? 🤔 Find out from Sundy in a little quiz we like to call #GameOn, on our story now.

Japanese tea ceremony is an excersize in precision. Precision governs how utensils are presented, how the towel is folded, the tea retrieved and the water poured. So precise are the movements that no one seems to breath during the moment of experiencing it.

The ceremony dates as far back as the 16th century. Four principles represent the way of tea: Wa (harmony), Kei (respect), Sei (purity) and Jaku (tranquility)

By going back to the basics of boiling water, making tea and sipping it, all with precision, a calm and refreshed state of mind — is the ultimate goal for those participating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Big thanks to Atsuko Mori-san @camellia.kyoto from Camellia Garden for allowing me to participate and capture her tea ceremony 🙏
