National Geographic

Photo by Robbie Shone @shonephoto | We have recently departed on an expedition that has been decades in the making. Professor Gina Moseley of the University of Innsbruck and leader of the Greenland Caves Project will lead a team of ten scientists, including glaciologists, paleo-geochronologists, a microbiologist, and permafrost experts, as well as explorers, photographers, and a medical doctor to study and sample the remote landscape of Crown Prince Christian Land, an area in the northeast corner of Greenland.
