For the third year Ines is joining Sew a Sofie. It’s an initiative that aims to ignite a love of hand sewing in a new generation. She is joining in with over 20 enthusiastic kid ambassadors from countries all over the world.
Thank you Trixi @colouredbuttons for inviting us to join in and for introducing us to felt and softies

to us means not to have a to-do list in what to see. We might encounter something completely unknown and unexpected that might be the most important part of our travel.
It’s means doing less - a slower pace.
It’s means exchanging houses. Which gives us the perfect base to rest, cook, nap, read and even create.
It’s means choosing one place to explore out of many.
It’s means walks, lots of walks (and talks) - and meeting and chatting with locals.
It’s means not being afraid of missing out beautiful attractions because you know it’s the travel style that suits you and your family #slowtravel#slowparenting#unschooling#travelwithkids#welltravelled#takethekids#naturelovers#visitsweden#motherhood#mytravelgram

Let the music begin! Here’s a simple and fun summer activity to do! (See the full concert in my stories ) 1) Take seven straws. Leave the first in full length. Cut 2 cm off the second, 4 cm off the third and so on.
2) Arrange the straws in a row from the longest to the shortest. See pictures.
3) Wrap tape around all the straws.
This is perfect for math skills like measuring etc.. The longest straw has more air inside and therefore a lower sound and the shorter straw a higher sound.... #panpipes#music#learnmath#lærmatematik

Will they loose interest, or will they have a meltdown if we continue?Taking a break hasn’t always felt natural to me, but I’ve come to realize that it’s an important skill to master. I want to teach my kids the importance of breaks. They are not something to feel guilty about but are as necessary and valuable as a good night’s sleep” (Another little abstract from my new book “Raising Creativity”) I am overwhelmed and so happy that this book has landed so well
. . . m y a w a k e . . . “Simple living looks different for every individual, depending on our personal values and views on life. As our family expanded, so did the feeling of not being able to keep up with society’s pace....” This is from my new book ‘Raising Creativity’ where I share my perspectives on living more simple to be able to find the time to do what we love

It’s so rewarding and such a treat to make your own dried herbs. This is oregano.... and the perfect way to slow down after our book release
