3 years and counting, I couldn't be more grateful that we have a friendship that continues to do life together even continents away from each other. You are an incredible woman of God who I can freely laugh, cry and grow with. There are not enough FaceTime talks, postcards or instaposts to say how much I love you and cherish all that God has made and called you to be. I pray God's love abounds in you more and more and that you keep contending in faith for all the things He's put on your heart! #USAxAustralia#longdistancefriendship

MARAMING SALAMAT PO! (Thank you )
LEND A HELPING HAND •Many katy neighborhoods were heavily affected during the weekend of Hurricane Harvey---whether it was the storm itself, the release of the reservoirs or some combo of both • This week was the first for many families who finally have clearance to return home, only to come back to mold, waste and debris. • Volunteering even a few hours of your time will make a huge impact to the families in need. Ways you can help include: • joining a relief team (most assembled by local churches or organizations who focus on demolition, clean up, salvage & sanitation of belongings) • provide lunch & cold water to the families and volunteers • assemble relief buckets to give to families (filled with trash bags, soap, masks, gloves etc) • you can assemble a team of your own but research what kind of supplies are needed before showing up at someone's house. what's nice about the established volunteer groups is that they typically have the necessary supplies and have organized plans to get work done efficiently •Stay #HoustonStrong#katytexas#volunteer#harveyrelief
•Looking for ways to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey? DONATE BLOOD & SAVE LIVES
• In the peak of this past storm, some blood donation centers were closed/inoperable for at least 3 days! • Help rebuild your region's blood supply by donating at a blood donation center/blood drive near you! To avoid long waits, call or go online to set an appointment.
• @gulfcoastregionalbloodcenter website: giveblood.org under "hurricane Harvey support" has an up to date list of their blood donation centers/blood drive operation times and locations •donate with them and you can have your choice of a coupon to redeem a free pint of @bluebellicecream , blood type socks, or this "commit for life shirt" while supplies last •
HOUSTON IS HOME. I'll never stop talking about how much I love this city. I am grateful for the diversity, the food, the memories, the people and opportunities I've had growing up here that has helped me become the person I am today.
Seeing the response to Hurricane Harvey just gave me another reason to love it even more. My heart is moved and forever changed seeing the display of love and compassion for Houston, Corpus Christi, Beaumont, Rockport, and other areas in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey. Every small act of kindness is an act of heroism and and act of love.
As we help each other rebuild our cities, my longing prayer is the rebuilding of our people in body, soul and spirit. We will be #HoustonStrong---not a restoration to a former glory, but a flourishing renewal and transformation like never before. I believe and trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God. He will pour out his spirit and his glory be displayed! #nkmedHTX#houstonmurals#houstonheights
BREKPAS OF CHAMPS IS CHAMPORADO who wouldn't want chocolate rice for breakfast?! •
While I have your insta attention, thanks for everyone who have been sharing postflood tips, shelter updates, and current hurricane relief needs. Whatever I've found or people have been sharing with me, I've been sharing on my IG story (easy platform to click through, screenshot and share). It's not organized in anyway but hope you find something helpful for you to use/share. Idk how long I plan to do it but i'm thinking there is no better way to use social media at this time.
Thank you for your prayers for Texas! So encouraged by people's faith and hearts being put into action and hope it inspires you to do the same. Find a way to get involved in an area near you! #nkmedeats#champorado#prayforTexas#prayforHouston#nkmedHTX#hurricaneharvey
WELCOME HOME NANAY
For the past 5 days, my mom has been working as a nurse in the Texas Medical Center and finally got to go home today. So full of love and light in a bleak situation. She's my hero!
Huge thank you to all the health care professionals, first care responders, firefighters, coastguard, police etc who have been working round the clock to protect and care for the city of Houston. You've been separated from your families and don't know what's become of your homes. What you've done can be a physically, emotionally and spiritually draining task and it has not gone unnoticed. You are a beacon of hope in action and inspire others to do the same. We appreciate how y'all have poured out your lives for the sake of others.
God bless y'all and God bless Texas. #prayforhouston#HoUStonstrong#hurricaneharvey#nkmedHTX#medinapamilya
God is worthy of our praise!
Happy 24th anniversary PCC! [It is God who enables us to stand firm in Christ] -2 Corinthians 1:21
Grateful that these past 24 years is a testimony of the unchanging nature of God. He is good. He is faithful. I pray for many more years to come --people of every tribe and tongue, young and old, and every way of life--together we lift up the name of Jesus Christ, seek His face, hunger for His word, and grow in the revelation of who He is.
