This is our founder of Let’s Imagine, @kimberlynnyoga , showing us all how to relax by surrendering to our mind and body through “Child’s Pose” (AKA Balasana).
BENEFIT: Child’s Pose aids to release the tension we all tend to hold in our lower back... especially from sitting for long hours.
HOW TO PRACTICE CHILD’s POSE:
1. INHALE Start by coming on to all 4s (hands under shoulders, knees under hips, shins and feet parallel extending behind you)
2. EXHALE Push your hands away from you and move your torso toward your heels. Reach your arms far in front of you or behind you to touch your heels
3. Let go & relax deeply. Breathe in and breathe out through your nose with grace and ease for as long as you’d like.
4. When you’re ready to come out of position, INHALE up to all 4s. Do a slight back bend in this position to balance your spine from being in child’s pose’s forward fold over you legs.

Took my 1st solo vacation in Nov ‘17 to Sydney, Australia. Easily one of the best things I’ve done in my life, just exploring a city by yourself is amazing. The people made it even better, they showed love especially when they found out I was American. lol
