Thank you so much for all the entries to my first giveaway! I'm so grateful for all the kind comments and all your support!
I would like to introduce myself again
here. My name is Yuki (please see photo)!😊 I'm a wife, mother of two and owner of The Tsubaki. I'm from Japan and have been living in the Surrey countryside in England for just over 9 years!
My husband is English and he is the biggest supporter in my life. After we got married in Japan in 2009, we moved here to start our new adventure. Since then we have become parents to 2 beautiful, kind, funny, and cheeky children. I love them so much and I love being a mum. However I have learnt being a mum is not always easy. It is sometimes hard and stressful. It's like an endless game of trying to inspire, motivate and nurture whilst trying not to completely give up on your own personal goals and dreams which you had before they arrived!
When I was first starting in motherhood, I felt slightly detached from normal society. I experienced this particularly when my husband was at work and I was looking after these amazing little humans all by myself with no immediate family to lend support.
To counter this, I tried to keep very active by seeing friends, going to parks, or taking them to classes etc. However I still sometimes felt disconnected to reality and everyday, normal life as I spent so much time with them.
Does anyone recognise or had similar kind of feelings?
