フラッシュバック to 原尻の滝 (Harajiri Waterfalls) in the Bungo Ono area of Oita.
Formed 90,000 years ago thanks to an eruption from Mt Aso nearby (aka the volcano where King Ghidora emerges from) these falls are dubbed The Oriental Niagara and stand modestly tall surrounded by serene fields and three Tori gates that lead to a nearby shrine.
There’s even a suspension bridge to cross as a viewing platform if you want to feel the thrill of being shaken by wind and like your moments away from recreating an Uncharted moment.
Final photo includes one of the best things I saw in Oita, the Holy Land of Soft Cream.
