We have this mentality in our day and age where we ALWAYS have to be busy and ALWAYS have to be doing one million things to be considered “successful” and “not lazy.” But in short, this is what’s killing our drive and society. It makes us stay up later than we need to sacrificing sleep. It makes order takeout and eat at our desk instead of taking even 15 minutes to have a mindful meal that you packed (which takes very little time!) and nourishing your body.
We are not MEANT to be going 24/7! We need breaks, we need rest, we need to take care of ourselves. It’s okay to hustle, we all have times in our lives when we have to be on something ALL THE TIME. But it is SO important to take a step back every so often. The rest is where we can recuperate so we can operate at 100%! So if you need a hump day reminder, be kind to yourself.
