Whenever some friend or relative asks me "is it beautiful?" I always reply saying "I love it". I think that Seoul really is a city for many, but at the same time its very peculiar beauty comes out just if you know how to recognize it.
It's not an attempt to find beauty in something that it's ugly, on the contrary it's like a rare dark flower in a field of tall daisies.
The beauty of this city, just like the beauty of Korea, is very much entangled in its history, culture and traditions.
If you expect to see breathtaking wonders or stunning marvels Seoul may disappoint you, but If your mind is open and your soul is willing to connect with this country you will find there's really few other places on earth that can give you such an intense experience like Korea.
