The only photo we got was just before as it was a rule of the band to have no photos or videos of the gig so you are able to live in the moment. But nonetheless I got to see one of my ultimate favourite bands but more importantly my idol. It's been 14 years since I discovered Tool and A Perfect Circle and I've waited just as long to be able to see and hear how fucking electric Maynard Keenans voice is and I'm not going to lie, I actually shed a tear when I got my moment. I got to hear such gems as Weak & Powerless, Pet, Blue, The Noose and their new album. More amazingly I got to not only see them once but twice in a row unexpectedly and discovered they played slightly different sets. It's difficult to explain to people how much a band, their music and their members can mean to someone but Maynards voice through various bands has carried me and at times dragged me through life and kept me going. It was an absolute honour to be a part of that crowd and it was a special experience being able to share all of this with my soul mate. Now just the long wait to Tool....
